During Theo's visits to Dublin and other
areas of Ireland, he painted in pastels
a number of important views of the city's bars,
markets and busy streets.
These paintings show the ordinary working people
of Ireland going about their daily work,
or enjoying their evenings around the pubs
and bars of the city.
These figurative works of the city's of
Dublin and Belfast, together with his paintings of
Irelands beautiful beaches and racecourses, are
highly prized by Art Collectors in America and Europe.
Theodore Zimmerman's travels through Ireland,
included pastels at various well known racecourses.
These paintings show the public around the bookmakers,
in the paddock, and on the racecourse.
Evening scenes around the bars and pubs in Dublin
where he found the Irish people friendly and good company.
